The Thistle Aberdeen Airport is a modern hotel situated by the airport exit road, 500 meters from the terminal, six miles from Aberdeen city center. The 147 guestrooms are decorated in blue shades with simple wooden furniture. All are equipped with trouser presses, tea- making facilities and satellite TV with pay movies. Complimentary newspapers are also offered. Open for breakfast and dinner, the Osprey Restaurant serves a range of modern dishes with a regional flavor, such as Duckling in Port and Wild Berry Sauce, while the bar offers a simpler menu of pub meals and drinks. Guests can make use of the gym room, which includes a running machine, static bike, rowing machine, stepper and free weights. The hotel also has six meeting rooms, offering capacity for up to 600 delegates, state- of-the-art visual facilities and satellite conferencing.
