REAVELEY FARMHOUSE DIRECTIONS NORTHBOUNDFrom the A1 take the Coldstream road A697 (next exit after Morpeth) and travel through Long Horsley, Long Framlington and Powburn. Continue up towards Wooler for approx 1 mile passing a service station and caf on your right and cottages at top of hill and the Tynemouth Adventure Scout hut both on your left, Take the next left unclassified road signposted Brandon, Ingram and Linhope and continue down into the valley for approx 2 miles passing through Brandon, continue on till you reach the 1st grey metal bridge and take a right towards Reaveley, continue up the road for approx mile, the Farmhouse is on your left just after the pair of cottages on the right.SOUTHBOUNDFrom the A1 at Tweedmouth, Berwick upon Tweed, take the Wooler road- B6525 and continue into Wooler, at junction of A697 and B6525 take a left onto A697 and continue down the road for approx 7 miles, look out for Scotts wood yard on your left and approx 2 miles ahead the sign post for Brandon, Ingram, Linhope, Turn right and continue down into the valley passing through Brandon, continue on till you reach the 1st grey metal bridge and take a right towards Reaveley, continue up the road for approx mile, The Farmhouse is on your left just after the pair of cottages on your rightFROM ALNWICK TOWN CENTREFrom centre of Alnwick take the B6341 (signposted Rothbury) and travel approx 3.3 miles to crossroads, turn right onto unclassified road signposted Callaly, Glanton, Whittingham. ( If you miss this junction you can carry on until you join with the A697 at crossroads, turn right and follow north until you reach Powburn and then follow rest of directions) Follow road all way down passing Lemmington bank and Battle bridge until you arrive at crossroads joining onto A697 Coldstream road ( Bridge of Aln public house on right) Turn right onto A697 and continue for approx 3 miles passing through Powburn, Continue up towards Wooler for approx 1 mile passing a service station and caf on your right and cottages at top of hill and the Tynemouth Adventure Scout hut both on your left, Take the next left unclassified road signposted Brandon, Ingram and Linhope and continue down into the valley for approx 2 miles passing through Brandon, continue on till you reach the 1st grey metal bridge and take a right towards Reaveley, continue up the road for approx mile, the Farmhouse is on your left just after the pair of cottages on the right. If you have a sat nav device in your car please make sure it sends you via BRANDON and not through BRANTON, there is no way across the ford at Branton (both villages are side by side with the river Breamish dividing them)If you are travelling Northbound to Reaveley and would like to eat before you arrive there is a pub located between the villages of Long Horsley and Long Framlington at Weldon Bridge, just off the A697 called The Anglers Arms, it is open from 12pm till 9pm for food and the portions are huge and very tasty. There is no need to book bar meals but they have an old train carriage for their restaurant for which you will have to book, the telephone number is 01665 570655If you are travelling southbound to Reaveley there is a lovely Italian restaurant The Milan Restaurant that is open from 5pm till 10pm for food in the town centre of Wooler.
