Built in 1632 Macdonald Whately Hall is a stone-built former coaching house located at Banbury Cross. The hotel features many original 17th Century period details including oak-panelled black beam corridors, hidden staircases, and priest holes. It is even said to have a resident ghost, Father Bernard. The 69 guestrooms are traditionally decorated in keeping with the period features of this hotel. All include televisions, CD players, tea and coffee making facilities, minibars, complimentary toiletries and wireless Internet access.
