Built in 1835 as a Malt House for the local Radford brewery, the Old Malt House Hotel is now privately owned and run. It is situated in the small hamlet of Radford surrounded by beautiful countryside just 6 miles from the historic city of Bath. Convenient for Bath, Longleat ( Animal Park), Wells, Glastonbury, Cheddar, Frome, and Chew Valley.Traditional home-cooked food, log fires and a warm welcome await you at the Old Malt House - a delightful country hotel, just 15 minutes drive from Bath City Centre. We have a fully licensed lounge bar and restaurant serving delicious home cooked meals seven nights a week.

A delightful family run country hotel, just 15 minutes from Bath and Wells. Set in beautiful countryside with restaurant, lounge/bar, free parking and delightful views from all rooms. Built in 1835 as a Malt House for the local Radford brewery, The Old Malt House Hotel is now privately owned by Jen and David Beresford. It is situated in the small hamlet of Radford surrounded by beautiful countryside, just 6 miles from the historic city of Bath. From the moment you set foot in The Old Malt House, you will be greeted with a warm, friendly welcome and it will be our pleasure to ensure that your stay with us will be enjoyable and relaxing. The accommodation comprises of 10 tastefully decorated bedrooms, all of which have en-suite bath/shower rooms, colour televisions, tea and coffee making facilities and stunning views across the countryside. Two of our twin rooms are located on the ground floor giving easier access for our guests who are less mobile. The hotel benefits from a fully licensed restaurant and cosy lounge bar with open fire place. In the restaurant, we offer a full a la carte menu and a comprehensive selection of wines, all of which are competitively priced. During the summer months, the terrace with its stunning views through the Cam Valley is the perfect setting for you to enjoy a drink before or after your meal.

How to reach for The Old Malt House Hotel Bath
From Bath take the A367 towards Radstock. Keep on this road for 3 miles and at the 1st roundabout go straight ahead signed A367 Radstock. At the 2nd roundabout (Odd Down park and ride) take the 3rd exit signed A367. After approximately 1 mile turn right onto the B3115 towards Tunley and Timsbury. Go through the village of Tunley keeping on the B3115, and in the next village (Camerton) take the 2nd turning left (on a very sharp bend) signed Radford. Go down the lane and after approximately mile take the 2nd turning left and the hotel can be found 50yds on the left.
