The Commodore Hotel is ideally situated on the cliff tops at Southbourne adjacent to the cliff lifts and Fishermans walk. The spectacular views across Poole bay take in Swanage to the West and Hengistbury Head and the Isle of Wight to the East. Its situation, close to the New Forest, makes it an ideal base from which to tour Hampshire and Dorset. An ideal venue for holidays and weekends away .Dine in our attractive Lounge Bar with panoramic sea views where good food is available daily or simply relax and have a drink form our superb range of real ales, wines and spirits. Children are welcome in our family eating area until 9pm.Each of our bedrooms are comfortably furnished, most have a sea view and are double glazed. All bedrooms are centrally heated and have colour TV, Radio alarm and tea and coffee making facilities. All are en-suite with bath or shower. We also have a small conference room available for hire for meetings or conferences.

All of the non-smoking, en suite rooms have been fully refurbished in Spring 2008 and are now equipped with brand-new deep pocket sprung divans. Each of the charming and comfortable rooms now features luxurious duvets and pillows, and toiletries from Gilchrist and Soames. All of the bathrooms have also been refurbished with new English fittings and power showers. The hotel offers an excellent base from which you can explore all that the south coast of England has to offer. Its location, close to the New Forest, makes it an ideal base from which to tour Hampshire and Dorset, and the Isle of Wight is also within easy reach. The hotel’s attractive lounge bar has wonderful panoramic sea views.
