Set in the idyllic rural hamlet of Castle Ashby, just 6 miles south east of Northampton, this traditional 16th century country hotel presents itself as the perfect destination for a relaxing weekend break. The Falcon is part of the Compton Estate, owned by Lord Northampton, and situated in the pretty hamlet of Castle Ashby. The Estate does, in fact, own the entire hamlet which is untouched by time and quintessentially English, with many walking routes through the beautiful surroundings and a small courtyard of shops. A traditional country hotel, The Falcon's emphasis is on excellent food and service. The restaurant serves modern English cuisine, prepared using fresh local ingredients, where possible.
