The Greenway hotel is a member of Von Essen Hotels, a private collection of individual country houses in the UK and Scotland and offers an exceptional value for accommodation and fine cuisine. Set in gardens of national renown, the Greenway is so convenient for Cheltenham and the Cotswolds, as well as being less than 10 minutes drive from the M5. It is a fine example of a beautiful Elizabethan manor house nestling in the golden glow of the glorious Cotswold Hills. Perhaps the finest country house hotel near Cheltenham, it has retained its historic features and charming character and takes its name from the pre-Roman path, which runs besides the building, which dates from its construction in 1584. Furnished with fresh flowers and antique furniture, the hall, restaurant, and public rooms offer the guests a combination of sophisticated elegance and rural informality. The Greenway offers extensive and charming hotel and catering facilities for wedding ceremonies and receptions, business meetings and conferences, training courses, holidays and short-term romantic breaks, and weekends.
