Located just 30 minutes drive from Blackpool.The lodge offers a selection of Budget rooms - single, Twin and double are available, these rooms offer basic accommodation and have NOT been refurbished, the discounted rate reflects the fact these rooms are of a basic standard. Guests requiring a refurbished room should book a Superior family OR and Executive room.The Lodge is fully licensed and offers a bar and restauarnt along with Full HOT English breakfast served each morning.Executive Rooms also feature in room fridge, iron centre, coffee machine, trouser press and hairdryer along with fan.TV channles include SKY sports 1,2 and 3 along with SKY news and as an optional extra Adult and block buster pay per view movies.Free parking is available for all guests and for added comfort 24 hour reception is operated.The Lodge is accredited by the AA and also Pet Friendlly - Pet rooms are designated and no charge is made for you bringingyour dog.The Lodge has great access to the Northern motorway network. Welcome Lodge Charnock Richard. Known to locals as the Gateway to the North. An ideal rest stop for customers travelling to Edinburgh, Glasgow and Scotland. We have currently installed new 21 inch TVs with all 5 terrestrial channels along with Sky One, Sky Sports 1, 2, 3 and Sky News. Pay movies are available as well.
The Lodge offers a fully licensed restaurant and bar (one of only 2 Welcome Lodges that are licensed). The bar is open 7 days a week and the restaurant every day except Sunday. The Lodge offers a hot full English breakfast served until 10:00 each morning. This Lodge is one of the older hotels of the group, providing excellent value for money and service that is 2nd to none. The 24 hour reception gives you a warm welcome with plenty of information available about the local areas and attractions. The evening restaurant serves home-cooked meals and bar snacks along with steaks, scampi and toasted sandwiches. We offer a wide range of fresh ground coffee and the bar is open each evening from 18:00. There is free parking for all residents, a comfortable lounge area and outdoor piazza for you to enjoy a coffee or a beer.
The Lodge is adjacent to Camelot theme park and you can purchase discount tickets from reception. Blackpool pleasure beach is a 30 minute drive away. Southport, Bottany Bay, Wigan Pier and Lancaster are also a short journey away. Manchester is 30 miles away and Liverpool and Liverpool airport are both about 25 minutes by car. Local towns include Chorley, Wigan, Leyland and Preston City. The Lodge is AA approved and pet friendly. There is plenty of parking for both caravan and coach.

Located between junctions 27 and 28 of the M6. 30 mins drive away from BLACKPOOL This is the last Welcome Break hotel before Blackpool.The Lodge is located on the northbound side.From the south come off at the service area and turn left. The Lodge is located on the left.From the North go past the Charnock Richard Services, coming off at Junction 27 ( approx 1 mile) go around the roundabout and re join the M6 northbound carriageway coming off at the service area. As you enter take the signposted left turn which leads you to the Lodge carpark
