Maggie and Gordon welcome you to their Victorian family home, only a short taxi ride from the city centre - 7 minutes - taxi costs about £8.00. We offer a cooked to order breakfast, including vegetarian haggis - continental style for those of you in a hurry.Free WiFi broadband is available. We are close enough to all of Edinburghs attractions without having the inconvenience of not being able to park - our residential area has free street parking. Also there are frequent and inexpensive bus services to all areas of the city. Our 4 star accommodation is completely non-smoking. If you require assistance in getting around Edinburgh to make the most of all this beautiful capital city has to offer or ideas on where to go to eat and drink. Maggie and her family will be only too happy to assist you.

How to reach for Edinburgh Highfield Guest House
From the Straition Junction, on the city bypass (A720), head toward the city centre (A701). Go through 3 sets of traffic lights (ignore pedestrian lights in this count) and at the third set you will have just descended Liberton Brae (hill). Drive forward 5 metres and take the left road - Mayfield Road. We are another 800 metres along this road, through another set of traffic lights, on the right hand side.
