From Edinburgh Airport: Approximate distance to the hotel is 5.5 miles. Taxis and hire cars are available from the airport; a typical taxi fare to the hotel is approximately 15-20 GBP. Airport shuttle bus number 100 runs from the airport to Princes Street, from here bus numbers 10 or 27 run to the hotel. A taxi from Princes Street to the hotel costs approximately 6 GBP. The centre of Edinburgh can easily be explored on foot, there are also a number of bus tours around the city. The hotel is 1.5 miles from Waverley Station. Driving directions: From the airport, follow signs to Edinburgh city centre along the A8, through Corstorphine, Murrayfield and Haymarket. At the West End of Princes Street, turn right into Lothian Road and follow the signs to the A702 through 5 sets of traffic lights. At Tollcross (clocktower in the middle of the junction) veer right into Home Street. At the 2nd set of traffic lights by the Kings Theatre, turn right into Gilmore Place. Continue along Gilmore Place for at least half a mile over 2 sets of lights. After the 2nd set of lights, continue straight over the mini roundabout into Polwarth Terrace and take the first road on your left after the tennis courts and bowling green. Take the first right into Ettrick Road and the car park is situated on the left.
