Follow the dual carriageway to the large roundabout and take the 2nd exit signed A591 Windermere. Stay on this road and go past Windermere- through the one way system in Ambleside- following signs for Keswick. After Rydal Water you will then see Grasmere Lake on the left hand side and The Prince of Wales Hotel. Just after the hotel is the junction - roundabout - signed Grasmere Village. Turn left into the village. Follow the road round until you see the Church on the right hand side- you now go over a bridge and round an S bend in the road and you will see The Wordsworth Hotel on the right hand side. By public transportation- Train until Oxenholme and change for Windermere- Catch the 555 Keswick bus and alight in Grasmere.
