The Queens is a landmark hotel in central Leeds, ideal for business or leisure, very close to the shops, clubs and bars. Easily accessible from the M1, M62 and A1, there is on-site parking for 70 cars (charges apply and no guarantee). The Queens is the most famous hotel in Leeds city centre. Opened as a hotel in 1937, this historic property occupies a prime position on City Square, next to Leeds Train Station and within walking distance of the city centre attractions. The Queens has recently completed a 2 year, 10 million pound refurbishment. This has seen all 200+ bedrooms completely refurbished as well as adding full air conditioning to all rooms. The towns and tourist spots in the Yorkshire area are also easily accessible from us. Shopping in Leeds is better than anywhere else. Many historic buildings have been converted to beautiful ornate shopping malls, such as the Victoria Quarter or the Corn Exchange, which offer a choice of unique high fashion boutiques.
