The nearby Bayswater is a lively area full of restaurants and shops and home to a large shopping centre Whiteleys. The hotel also lies walking distance of the trendy Notting Hill area and the famous Portobello market. There are several tube stations in the proximity (nearest being Lancaster Gate, 3 min walk), providing easy access to any parts of central London.
